My first sewing project, circa 1983; felt Nike’s modeled off of my own Nike Cortez shoes hand sewn for my sister’s Cabbage Patch Doll.

One of my favorite places, in front of my sewing machine making things!

I have worked in creative roles with textiles as my medium for nearly 25 years.  At a very young age, I had a passion to “make things” and I was lucky enough to grow up in a family that fostered my creativity.  I have been fortunate enough to evolve what I love doing, into a job. Every day, I get to work with some of the most talented people in the world while making some of the coolest and most innovative product in the marketplace.

I have found success in my career by maintaining a balance between the healthy creative tension that fuels innovative product creation and seizing the opportunity to re-imagine processes and tools that deliver better products to the consumer's hands faster and more profitable than we did yesterday.  I balance my day job with creative projects outside of work for inspiration and continued personal growth.

I currently live in Portland, Oregon with my husband and three rescue cats. Outside of work, I enjoy time at the Oregon Coast and have recently spent quite a bit of time “road tripping” across the US.
